This time spiritually and universally is a moment in our lives for facing inner fears... and letting them go for good!!! PERIOD LOL It is about stepping into our power, which doesn't translate to controlling others, but being aware that when others are around us, we don't have to take on their shifts (smile). The world is sadly, full of controllers - and we can identify with them very easily... they can be every day people, like ourselves and yes, world leaders and those in power. They have their own fears, so translate that to taking control of others so they can themselves feel stronger, more powerful. If you can get to the library and rent the Celestine Prophecy*, do it and watch it. Here is the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUdDvrAFI1k We watched this movie many years ago when it first came out, but I borrowed it again from the library about a year ago. As I watched it, I connected to many essences of what is going on in and around us all at the moment (smile). It may help you to understand, even accept, but definitely NOT take on their fears, their anger, their pain. Always push out love, light and forgiveness because that is the only way we can be free ourselves (smile). Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson *Celestine Prophecy written by James Redfield. Here are some spiritual outlooks on life by twelve different people. I was sent this by a friend so sadly don’t know who the writer is, so sharing this with you without credit. As I remind everyone, life is about perspective, each of us with our own viewpoint our own definition. After reading this I hope you will consider things a little differently, with an open mind and heart. Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson 1. Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I'm working on for my Psychology class. When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, "Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile." 2. Today, I asked my mentor - a very successful business man in his 70' s - what his top 3 tips are for success. He smiled and said, "Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing." 3.Today, after my 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug. When I tensed up, she realized I didn't recognize her. She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, "On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of the World Trade Center ." 4.Today, after I watched my dog get run over by a car, I sat on the side of the road holding him and crying. And just before he died, he licked the tears off my face. 5.Today at 7AM, I woke up feeling ill, but decided I needed the money, so I went into work. At 3PM I got laid off. On my drive home I got a flat tire. When I went into the trunk for the spare, it was flat too. A man in a BMW pulled over, gave me a ride, we chatted, and then he offered me a job. I start tomorrow. 6.Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around my mother's hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died. She simply said, "I feel so loved right now. We should have gotten together like this more often." 7.Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed. About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy. 8.Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to start recycling. I chuckled and asked, "Why?" She replied, "So you can help me save the planet." I chuckled again and asked, "And why do you want to save the planet?" Because that's where I keep all my stuff," she said. 9.Today, when I witnessed a 27-year-old breast cancer patient laughing hysterically at her 2-year-old daughter's antics, I suddenly realized that I need to stop complaining about my life and start celebrating it again. 10.Today, a boy in a wheelchair saw me desperately struggling on crutches with my broken leg and offered to carry my backpack and books for me. He helped me all the way across campus to my class and as he was leaving he said, "I hope you feel better soon." 11.Today, I was feeling down because the results of a biopsy came back malignant. When I got home, I opened an e-mail that said, "Thinking of you today. If you need me, I'm a phone call away." It was from a high school friend I hadn't seen in 10 years. 12.Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe . He said he hadn't eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy. Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating. The first thing the man said was, "We can share it." The best sermons are lived, not preached. This is a wonderful, so I want to share it... I apologize for not giving credit to the author, but thank them for being so wise...... enjoy..... Why do I have a variety of friends who are all so different in character? How is it possible that I can get along with them all? I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me. With one of them I am polite. With another I joke, with another I can be a bit naughty... I can sit down and talk about serious matters with one. With another I laugh a lot. I listen to one friend's problems. Then I listen to another one's advice for me. My friends are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. When completed, they form a treasure box. A treasure of friends! They are my friends who understand me better than I understand myself. They're friends who support me through good days and bad. Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health. Dr. Oz calls them Vitamin F (for Friends) and counts the benefits of friends as essential to our well being. Research shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of depression and terminal strokes. If you enjoy Vitamin F constantly you can be up to 30 years younger than your real age. The warmth of friendship stops stress and even in your most intense moments, it decreases the chance of a cardiac arrest or stroke by 50%. I'm so happy that I have a stock of Vitamin F! In summary, we should value our friends and keep in touch with them. We should try to see the funny side of things and laugh together and pray for each other in the tough moments. SOME OF MY FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS ON LINE. I KNOW I AM PART OF THEIRS BECAUSE THEIR NAMES APPEAR ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN OFTEN AND I FEEL BLESSED THAT THEY CARE AS MUCH FOR ME AS I CARE FOR THEM. THANK YOU FOR BEING ONE OF MY VITAMINS! THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT FRIENDSHIP IS THAT WE CAN GROW SEPARATELY WITHOUT GROWING APART. And by the way, this applies to family too...... so have a vibrational day enjoying your dose of Vitamin F!!! Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. 1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world. 2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners. 3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant. 4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize. 5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress. How did you do? The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But when the applause dies ........Awards tarnish ........ Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners. Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one: 1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school. 2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time. 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile. 4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special. 5.Think of five people you enjoy spending time with. Easier? The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money ... or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.... so keep tha close to your heart. Sadly, even after internet research I have not been able to find the author of this amazing philosophy.... but whomever wrote it, I want to share it with you.... to ponder on.... to allow your heart to be open and accept that we don’t have to have a wall or shelf full of accolades and honors to prove what a successful and loved person we are....... just look to your friends for that.... Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson Today, I want to share some wonderful thoughts about living life vibrationally. There is no one author who has created this list, but many. Over the years I have read and shared profound and wonderful words within our world, so although I state author unknown, I hope you embrace and enjoy them. Vibrational Sharing Debbie 1. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. 20. Live your life vibrationally..... Author unknown A while ago I went to a concert where Toto & Michael McDonald were performing alongside each other. It was a glorious evening of listening to great music that I knew the words to (smile). But what was touching to me was that these artists obviously not only enjoyed what they did, but embraced working alongside each other. Toto being the opening band invited Michael McDonald to join them, then when it was the closing song, Michael McDonald had Toto come back out on stage. Michael introduced his band members with admiration, many, including Toto being close friends in the business for many years, which shone throughout the evenings performance. When he introduced Tommy Sims, one of the co-writers of the song Eric Clapton made famous, “Change The World” it lead into Michael McDonald reminding the audience, as human beings that we need to learn to live together as one, which got a roar from the crowd. This was followed by lead guitarist Steve Lukather, from Toto, giving an electrical rendition of Amazing Grace. As this electrical euphoria filled the auditorium where 5000 people were gathered together, I imagined how each of us could individually change the world we live in with simple acts of kindness and acceptance. The Universal shift that is currently happening is about unconditional love. The vibration of benevolence would evoke a different perception in our world. We each need to take responsibility for the positive energy we can create in life. Whether that is acceptance of others and the faith they follow, or helping someone without any expectation of something in return. Imagine how our spiritual acts would evolve, based on only our purest intentions. I sense it would be the emergence of sincerity, kindness and acceptance living in total harmony within our world. So, what are you waiting for..... YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!!!! Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson Tomorrow is 888. August (8th month), 8th day, and 2015 = 8. So a very powerful combination!! It’s all about manifesting abundance and inviting in that vibrational flow of infinite amazement. The “biggy” on our side of the fence, that is our humanness, needs to be kept in check. Basically don’t let yourself be pulled in the direction of negativity if things don’t work out right first time. This powerful number is the vibration of keeping things in a down to earth practicality. For instance, don’t dream of owning a large yacht if you haven’t got the knowledge of sailing or are not good at sea. Dream yourself a dream of what you can and will utilize for your personal self. Manifesting with 888 is about the vibration of realism and usefulness. If your car is dying, then it is evident that you need a car that is reliable, inexpensive to run, safe etc. You can see where I am going with this. Keep it real for you. Of course I add my note of caution to your wishing. With every dream comes responsibility and taking ownership for our actions. So, as it is said, be careful what you dream for… because you may get it! Dreaming or wishing is the combination of our thoughts and actions that create the balance in our physical soul being, and so it is thus in our spiritual world. The two are in tandem with each other. You only have to look at the figure 8 to realize there is no beginning and no end. It just keeps looping around and around, in infinity. The universal flow which is the synergy of harmony vibrating within our inner and outer world, like us they are connected. Like any time in our lives, we have the potential to draw upon our angels, guides and helpers. So if you are not truly positive about what you want, ask them for guidance. They seem to know, and they will let us know in no uncertain terms because they want us to live our life to its full potential. That is why they are there – for us! When we reach out to the Universe, we are vibrationally supported – so reach out and tap into your 888 abundance!! Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson We have all had those week’s when things don’t necessarily go to plan… it’s called life! Even if you place all your faith in God or whomever you believe and rejoice to, there are just those times when you are tested a tad more than you truly expect or want. I suppose it is the “why” and “how” questions that we enter into when things don’t quite go according to plan. The “how” and “why” elements immediately shift us into our ego, our human part of our being, especially when we feel it is something we have or haven’t done. It is the immediate mental flagellating or flogging we use to blame ourselves for allowing things to transpire the way they did. Whereas the letting go element is based on pure faith. Trust you might call it, that sometimes, things happen for a reason. Even if we cannot fully comprehend exactly the mystery or sequence of events around what happened, it is the acceptance and belief that it should have transpired that way. Faith is that unrequited element that no matter how bad things seem to get, that there is a greater plan that we are not privy to…. Yet. At the point we move from head to heart, we are centred in our vibrational energy, our core soul cellular part of us. This is the component that sometimes moves us in a slightly different direction in order to create some shift or modification that we wouldn’t necessarily invite towards us. When we start that particular day or period before things start changing and fluctuating, you could say we are at ground zero. It is only when we are flung headlong into the struggles that transpire, that we need to become heart centred, and pull from the spiritual resources within to allow our highest good or God as I call it, to guide and direct us in hope and love. Our higher self or God element is the part that truly lets go and bonds with the divine vibration so we can be lifted up, removing the fears and doubts that do reside within. It is certainly not relinquishing responsibility, it is the calm that enters inside our energy being in peace and reassurance. Some call it the “ah ha” moment. It is that magical part of us, that sudden realization, that we just feel or sense that everything is going to be okay. Our body, mind and soul have connected in completeness, so we become whole. That uplifting feeling that the burdens and troubles are being handled, and it is not for us to sweat about it, but to move forward in acceptance and enchantment. The incredible part about any journey is the story behind it. For me, writing any article or blog is about the preparation on a particular subject. Sometimes when I struggle with the context or wording and direction I reach up to spirit for guidance. Just so you know, my week, up to this point had been going extremely well, so how could I write about faith and letting go in an empowering way. This is the word of caution I offer to you, be careful what you wish for…… Just this week I was unexpectedly cast into two situations of such testing. Nothing truly major, but for me, when the first occurrence happened, I momentarily stepped into “how” and “why”. Initially, my Facebook pages had been disabled, or removed by the Facebook Gods so I was caught up momentarily in paranoia and "why me". More because I am not a tech savvy type of gal, so anything that happens in this genre is always a challenge. The second was more on a personal level. For anyone who knows me, I am not a vain person, and although image is important, it isn’t paramount. But I do enjoy having long hair. I suppose this stems back to when I was younger and had the basic pudding basin cut. So as I got older I allowed my hair to grow and I suppose I have gotten used to it being that way. But with hair it needs professional attention, so I called my hairdresser and went in for a basic trim, asking her to take it to shoulder length, cutting away all the dead stuff. It was a great morning, the sun was shining for the first time in a while, and as we chatted about my work and her work she started cutting away at my hair. I was totally unaware that one side was quite a lot shorter than the other until her scissors took off the last hairs on my right side. Somehow, to her dismay and disbelief, she had cut off more than either of us wanted. I wasn’t in total shock, until I realized that the only way to rectify this problem was to chop off the long side to align with the much shorter side. After all, she could hardly glue it back together again.... I certainly didn’t want to open up the conversation on “why” and “how” which is what my hairdresser kept doing while apologizing. I reassured her that it was fine, and left endeavoring to accept that perhaps there was a bigger force at work behind all this. After all the summer was just arriving, so perhaps having shorter hair was the way to go? It was totally pointless going into the punishment mentality, because I am positive it wasn’t God’s will. Maybe it was my spirit guides and angels way of giving me these experiences so I could fully appreciate how to write this article in a more divinely understanding way. I truly believe so. And for me, I know that having to change my pages to align them with Facebook protocol will benefit me in a far greater way… and eventually my hair will grow back. I suppose ultimately it is about letting go and letting God take up the slack on my behalf. Vibrational Sharing, Debbie A. Anderson Recently I spent an evening enjoying the company of Craig Ferguson, on his “Hot & Grumpy Tour – Walking The Earth”. For anyone who hasn’t explored the humor of this once stand-up comedian and now late night TV host, then do so with caution, IF you are offended by the “F” word, which I wasn’t. One phrase he used was “I’m not being judgmental… I am just telling the truth” when sharing his very funny antidotes of his own life’s journey in the world of humor. One example was he mentioned that Vancouver, British Columbia had a lot of Asians living there, he was in no way being prejudice or racist, because it is a fact. Vancouver is made up from a lot of ethnic groups, Asians possibly being the largest group. After a while as he used this phrase over and over again when sharing his humor, and the phrase sort of grew on me. Like an epiphany I realized that none of us are actually being judgmental when we share something with another human being. Our truth comes from many aspects of what we have either been taught by our parents, peers and so on, or what we have experienced ourselves up to that point in our ever evolving lives. Therefore if we “own” that truth, it is ours. So principally we are not evaluating it from any other essence than the core of knowledge we have already learned. For some the awareness and experience may be very limited, so in my defense I will state “I’m not being judgmental…..” Being judgmental is defined in the dictionary as “having or displaying an excessively critical point of view”. But can we accept that on its own, or is there a more expansive way to accept others truths? When we share something that we know as our “own” truth with another, we are not necessarily being negative or disapproving. In some cases we are actually communicating something that has either excited us or given us the opportunity to change our viewpoint. I am not saying it is okay to impose upon another our own truths, but maybe if we all used the phrase “I am not being judgmental, I am just telling the truth”, others wouldn’t get so offended. I know for sure that there have been many occasions in my life when I have shared something with someone who has got upset with me, indicating I was being judgmental, which I wasn’t. So I am positive I am not alone in this experience. Curious to know what you feel about this concept? Written by Debbie A. Anderson It’s funny the way that life can throw you certain curve balls, and depending upon where you are at that point on your journey determines whether you will either catch them or toss them aside. My latest one, came out of the blue, as they seem to do. It happened when I was rushed into the Royal Brisbane Hospital to have an Oesphagoscopy. When admitted at Emergency, I was asked many administrative questions, which was a challenge in itself, but the one that had me stumped was the question “What is your religion?” You see I have always deemed myself “spiritual” with earth related tendencies, but had never been forced to place a religious name to it. After struggling uncomfortably for several minutes, I asked the very patient registrar what were my options surrounding this part of the questioning? I wasn’t stalling, but rather hoping that someone else, who had gone before me and encountered the same quandary, had identified a category that I would fall within. I think her look of indicated a little distain with my approach. Perhaps she thought I was trying to choose the most popular. She did reluctantly share the “main stream” options, even one for Atheist, which I think she was ready to mark off for me. I realized my preferences were now basically a choice between either “Christian” or “Other”. I took a moment to ponder on my childhood upbringing in the fold of the Church of England. Although it was a “staple” of my learning in essence as I do believe in God, but not in the man-made conventional way it has been interpreted. My so called controversial perspective or belief is that God did exist within every single one of us as we embraced our love and understanding with mankind. As the bible states “…. so God created man in his own image…”, thus making us God. At this point I didn’t want to start spouting off a lecture surrounding these principals just as much as I didn’t want to fall into the desolate category of “other”. So this opportunity to face something I had yet truly understood, made me wonder if the word “spiritual” could be deemed a religion? Could those of us that don’t follow a cult or veneration be allowed to choose this very encompassing direction? Frankly I have no idea who to petition to “change the rules of engagement” and dearly hope that none of you have to be placed in this situation in the future. I believe that being spiritual is a greater calling than any religious stamp society wants to place upon us. Please don’t get me wrong, or send me hate mail, as I honour and accept that if you have found a religion that “sings” to your heart, you are vibrationally blessed. Vibrational Sharing, Debbie A.
