In life we have random moments... one after another... and sometimes we actually listen and follow through... on that haphazard thought... without attaching anything to it... no requirements... no needing to know... just taking one step after another not expecting a perceived outcome....
It does all start with that casual thought. That moment when you just do something because you feel an inner feeling...... guidance... direction.
Take my day yesterday. I went out to mail out a deck that had been purchased online at my website. I stood in the lineup, and looked around the very familiar spot I go to almost daily to ship out orders (thank you spirit). But today my eye caught a postcard of Point Pelee, it was prepaid to anywhere in the world, so I immediately thought of my son Russell, who last year came to visit me in Canada. We walked out to the “point” something I hadn’t done in the 4 years I have lived in Leamington. And, that was that random moment I followed through & bought the postcard.
I then was craving a trim, my hair was getting way too long for me, it was messing, untamed. But the hairdresser was packed, an hour wait, hmmm way too much to do. So my day continued like any other day, focusing on my wonderful work. Later Chris had to go out to see his mechanic for the corvette, so asked if I wanted to come along for the ride. Why not, sunny day, cooler than it has been so I was in.
After we had finished his “business” I asked if we could just drop back into the hairdressers, and yes, they could cut my hair. Again, a random decision – unplanned, not orchestrated. Chris then suggested going for a beer, I was in, the temperature was pleasant and I wanted to sit outside, so we decided to go to the golf club looking over Lake Erie, only to be told NO, the management were concerned about the bugs.
Hmm, Fish flies had just finished, so we then, on the spur of the moment went somewhere else, a place we had not been to in a long time that we knew had a patio overlooking the lake. As we pulled up & got out of the car this voice shouts over “Debbie ... it’s you!” We embraced in complete surprise, because the last time we had met over a year ago she was heading out of Province. She shared “I was going to go for a bike ride, but spirit said get in the car and go to Freddys.” so she followed through. Wow I thought, this wasn’t our first choice, but obviously spirit guided us here too... at this exact moment when Amanda would be here. That chance meeting -synchronistical. She then shared her travels and explained currently she was working at Point Pelee... I laughed and pulled out the postcard I had purchased earlier.
In that moment, we sat KNOWING this was a divine invitation for us all.... not knowing the “what” or the “why” but allowing our intuition, our inner guru to guide us to this exact point in time for this meeting.
We sat, talked and listened. We shared and allowed that moment, when the three of us where connected spiritually to just be. In synchronicity. In pure awareness. Even still not knowing what or why we had been brought together, but embracing the moment.
Questions, thoughts, sharings... then as we were preparing to say goodbye, the song from Flashdance came on.. What a Feeling... take your magic and make it happen... take your passion and make it happen.... What a feeling, Bein's believin'..I can have it all.
What more could we have asked for in that divine appointment we had turned up for? A clear and concise message for us all!
Thank you spirit for everything you send to me EVERY single moment. Thank you for engaging my consciousness into being present, turning up, being in the NOW moment every step of the way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now invite in the moments that occur without knowing why... it all starts with just a thought!.
