A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay vessels. It was like someone had rolled balls of clay and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone! Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay vessels. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away! It's like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it. We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy, we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person. There is a treasure in each one of us. If we take the time to get to know that person, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth. May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. Author Unknown Now go out there and be a vibrational treasure, the way the Universe intended you to be!! Vibrational Blessings & Sharings, Debbie A. Anderson Believing in yourself is paramount if you ever want to succeed in life. It is about self-motivation & overcoming your fears to make your dream become a reality. The first step is having the ability to grasp the notion that you are capable of doing amazing things when you believe in yourself. Each of us have unlimited potential to do something great but ONLY when you are willing to take the risks and work the plan of action you set out for yourself. Your mind is owned and operated by YOU, so don’t allow the trolls and “neigh sayers” to get in your head, because when you do, you are finished. Don’t allow yourself to get the life blood sucked out of you by trying to live up to the expectations of others. Always surround yourself with people who believe in you and what you are doing. Self-doubt is like an incurable disease that gets into your system if you don’t stay focused and on course. It is said that faith can move mountains, so never doubt your own power, because you are capable of achieving anything if you are motivated and set your mind, body and soul to it. Being negative is very easy if you buy into it. The half empty glass concept is the easy way out, because if you look at it from another perspective, you always have the ability to refill the glass – if you want to! When you stop comparing yourself to others and live up to your own expectations you are navigating in the right direction of being successful. When we step into our vibration and believe in our “self”, because in reality it is already a part of us, the transition is of ease and grace.... Finally remember to always live up to your OWN expectations because it is YOU and only you who counts. As Zig Ziglar said “Put all excuses aside and remember this: YOU are capable”. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson There is much in life that we don’t have answers for and yet we forge ahead hoping to find our way. We trust in a force, be it God or our higher self, and sometimes get to find the knowledge that will guide us. Now and then, without even realizing, our soul gives us what we need. Our friends, loved ones, family – whatever we hold dear to us, moves us to the point of hope. We can only move forward. Our past is behind us. Our future, without knowing its path, lies ahead. Some tread tenderly, others rough ride the road and hope it will in return bring them to their goal. Our purpose. Our focus. Whatever that is, we seem to hold it dear to our heart. Should we fail? Will we succeed? Do we know what lies at the end of the journey? Is it fear or hope that makes us who we are? If there is a God or universal force, does it care either way? Can we know that? The questions outweigh the answers. And should we actually find the answers, do we know for sure that they are correct for us? Life, is for living..... but do we know if we are living our life as it should be lived? There is no jury to decide. There is no paper, certificate at the end of the road saying we have passed with honours. Only our soul knows for sure. But will our memory, like footprints in the sand, be erased when we move on to the next life? Or will the imprint still be there deep within us.................. Ultimately, this is YOUR life and the way you lead it is up to YOU... no pressure. My hope is that whatever you do, you just DO IT and do it vibrationally! Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson A year ago I went to a concert where Toto & Michael McDonald were performing alongside each other. It was a glorious evening of listening to great music that I knew the words to (smile). But what was touching to me was that these artists obviously not only enjoyed what they did, but embraced working alongside each other. Toto being the opening band, invited Michael McDonald to join them, then the closing song, Michael McDonald had Toto come back out on stage. Michael introduced his band members with admiration, many, including Toto being close friends in the business for many years, which shone throughout the evenings performance. When he introduced Tommy Sims, one of the co-writers of the song Eric Clapton made famous, “Change The World” it lead into Michael McDonald reminding the audience, as human beings that we need to learn to live together as one, which got a roar from the crowd. This was followed by lead guitarist Steve Lukather, from Toto, giving an electrical rendition of Amazing Grace. As this electrical euphoria filled the auditorium where 5,000 people were gathered together, I imagined how each of us could individually change the world we live in with simple acts of kindness and acceptance. The Universal shift that is currently happening is about unconditional love. The vibration of benevolence would evoke a different perception in our world. We each need to take responsibility for the positive energy we can create in life. Whether that is acceptance of others and the faith they follow, or helping someone without any expectation of something in return. Imagine how our spiritual acts would evolve, based on only our purest intentions. I sense it would be the emergence of sincerity, kindness and acceptance living in total harmony within our world. If you get a moment listen to “Change the World” https://youtu.be/kntzQiaFzOQ Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson This time spiritually and universally is a moment in our lives for facing inner fears... and letting them go for good!!! PERIOD LOL It is about stepping into our power, which doesn't translate to controlling others, but being aware that when others are around us, we don't have to take on their shifts (smile). The world is sadly, full of controllers - and we can identify with them very easily... they can be every day people, like ourselves and yes, world leaders and those in power. They have their own fears, so translate that to taking control of others so they can themselves feel stronger, more powerful. If you can get to the library and rent the Celestine Prophecy*, do it and watch it. Here is the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUdDvrAFI1k We watched this movie many years ago when it first came out, but I borrowed it again from the library about a year ago. As I watched it, I connected to many essences of what is going on in and around us all at the moment (smile). It may help you to understand, even accept, but definitely NOT take on their fears, their anger, their pain. Always push out love, light and forgiveness because that is the only way we can be free ourselves (smile). Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson *Celestine Prophecy written by James Redfield. Here are some spiritual outlooks on life by twelve different people. I was sent this by a friend so sadly don’t know who the writer is, so sharing this with you without credit. As I remind everyone, life is about perspective, each of us with our own viewpoint our own definition. After reading this I hope you will consider things a little differently, with an open mind and heart. Vibrational Blessings Debbie A. Anderson 1. Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I'm working on for my Psychology class. When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, "Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile." 2. Today, I asked my mentor - a very successful business man in his 70' s - what his top 3 tips are for success. He smiled and said, "Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing." 3.Today, after my 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug. When I tensed up, she realized I didn't recognize her. She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, "On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of the World Trade Center ." 4.Today, after I watched my dog get run over by a car, I sat on the side of the road holding him and crying. And just before he died, he licked the tears off my face. 5.Today at 7AM, I woke up feeling ill, but decided I needed the money, so I went into work. At 3PM I got laid off. On my drive home I got a flat tire. When I went into the trunk for the spare, it was flat too. A man in a BMW pulled over, gave me a ride, we chatted, and then he offered me a job. I start tomorrow. 6.Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around my mother's hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died. She simply said, "I feel so loved right now. We should have gotten together like this more often." 7.Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed. About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy. 8.Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to start recycling. I chuckled and asked, "Why?" She replied, "So you can help me save the planet." I chuckled again and asked, "And why do you want to save the planet?" Because that's where I keep all my stuff," she said. 9.Today, when I witnessed a 27-year-old breast cancer patient laughing hysterically at her 2-year-old daughter's antics, I suddenly realized that I need to stop complaining about my life and start celebrating it again. 10.Today, a boy in a wheelchair saw me desperately struggling on crutches with my broken leg and offered to carry my backpack and books for me. He helped me all the way across campus to my class and as he was leaving he said, "I hope you feel better soon." 11.Today, I was feeling down because the results of a biopsy came back malignant. When I got home, I opened an e-mail that said, "Thinking of you today. If you need me, I'm a phone call away." It was from a high school friend I hadn't seen in 10 years. 12.Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe . He said he hadn't eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy. Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating. The first thing the man said was, "We can share it." The best sermons are lived, not preached. This is a wonderful, so I want to share it... I apologize for not giving credit to the author, but thank them for being so wise...... enjoy..... Why do I have a variety of friends who are all so different in character? How is it possible that I can get along with them all? I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me. With one of them I am polite. With another I joke, with another I can be a bit naughty... I can sit down and talk about serious matters with one. With another I laugh a lot. I listen to one friend's problems. Then I listen to another one's advice for me. My friends are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. When completed, they form a treasure box. A treasure of friends! They are my friends who understand me better than I understand myself. They're friends who support me through good days and bad. Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health. Dr. Oz calls them Vitamin F (for Friends) and counts the benefits of friends as essential to our well being. Research shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of depression and terminal strokes. If you enjoy Vitamin F constantly you can be up to 30 years younger than your real age. The warmth of friendship stops stress and even in your most intense moments, it decreases the chance of a cardiac arrest or stroke by 50%. I'm so happy that I have a stock of Vitamin F! In summary, we should value our friends and keep in touch with them. We should try to see the funny side of things and laugh together and pray for each other in the tough moments. SOME OF MY FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS ON LINE. I KNOW I AM PART OF THEIRS BECAUSE THEIR NAMES APPEAR ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN OFTEN AND I FEEL BLESSED THAT THEY CARE AS MUCH FOR ME AS I CARE FOR THEM. THANK YOU FOR BEING ONE OF MY VITAMINS! THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT FRIENDSHIP IS THAT WE CAN GROW SEPARATELY WITHOUT GROWING APART. And by the way, this applies to family too...... so have a vibrational day enjoying your dose of Vitamin F!!! Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. 1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world. 2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners. 3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant. 4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize. 5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress. How did you do? The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But when the applause dies ........Awards tarnish ........ Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners. Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one: 1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school. 2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time. 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile. 4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special. 5.Think of five people you enjoy spending time with. Easier? The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money ... or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.... so keep tha close to your heart. Sadly, even after internet research I have not been able to find the author of this amazing philosophy.... but whomever wrote it, I want to share it with you.... to ponder on.... to allow your heart to be open and accept that we don’t have to have a wall or shelf full of accolades and honors to prove what a successful and loved person we are....... just look to your friends for that.... Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson Today, I want to share some wonderful thoughts about living life vibrationally. There is no one author who has created this list, but many. Over the years I have read and shared profound and wonderful words within our world, so although I state author unknown, I hope you embrace and enjoy them. Vibrational Sharing Debbie 1.
