![]() In the work I do as a clairvoyant medium, I have many beautiful experiences through spirit as they connect with me, especially when I am doing a reading for someone. Every reading is different, but when spirit unite with their loved ones here on earth, it is always with pure unconditional love. Many times the reason someone comes for a reading is to find out how their loved one is doing after passing into spirit, or as I call it, crossing over to the other side. They want reassurance on many things, but some of the most memorable questions are... Did they arrive safely? Who was there to meet them? Has their pain gone? How are they doing now? Spirit, because they are still connected with us through the “love” vibration, know these are our concerns so these questions seem to always show me, that spirit want us to be reassured that they are doing well, the pain has gone, and they are happy. I like to share with people the analogy, that it is like someone we love, going on vacation and not knowing if anyone will be there, that they know, to meet them. In our humanness, we can get concerned for that traveller, because this is something new, something unfamiliar and because we love them, we want it to all be good. I am blessed to convey, that no one leaves this world alone, that they are always met by someone on the other side. Usually, if we have been present at the end of that soul’s journey, they may have from time to time near the end, seem to be either looking in the distance at something we cannot see with our human sight, or talking to someone who is not us. This is spirit connecting that person with what I like to call their travel buddy. This is usually, but not always, someone they know and love that has already passed over. A family member, a friend, and even on occasions a pet that they loved and cared for in life. All their questions are answered and although it may seem like a new and uncharted journey, they are being reminded that this is not the first time they have done this. Our soul, in human form forget a lot of the details so they are reassured everything has been taken care of for them, and that they are there waiting for them, when they are ready to leave this vibration, this incarnation. In the past, when someone came to see me, it was usually some time after the person had crossed over. But what I am finding now, because of the immense love vibration that has grown due to the ascension of souls in the past few years, is spirit are consenting those going through their transition, to come back almost immediately to reassure their loved ones all is well. One of the factors I am noticing is that those here who have said goodbye to a loved one are getting more perceptive to them being around them. What I share is that sometimes spirit send us a message in a hope we can connect to that vibration to know it is them. Many times during a reading that clarification has been confirmed and reassurance given so that loved one knows they can connect themselves, but in a different vibration. I try to remind people that when someone leaves this world, that any memory that we have of them, connects us to them, and the highest form of connection is through the love vibration. What I mean by that is when our memory connects with that person in spirit in joy, love and with affection, that thread becomes stronger, so the person on the other side can send back down messages that we will see, sense, feel or hear in some way. Some people have told me that when they see a butterfly they know it is a certain person, the same type of bird that comes into their garden to visit them, and so on. We just have to connect the dots to understand. Here is an example of someone who passed into spirit. The messages I received from them for their loved one covered many things including the sense that he would “show” himself as something floating, which I interpreted as something like a butterfly, bird, feather etc. Throughout the reading the color blue kept coming up through his memories, and because this soul was so loving and caring during their journey here on earth, they wanted to still be around in the lives of those they loved. The person sitting there then shared that just recently a Blue Jay had been visiting their garden, and they had even said, “hey I think that is dad keeping an eye on us”. They asked “could it be him”? We looked at each other and smiled, she then connected all the dots from the reading to get her own confirmation. Sometimes it isn’t always that simple, but when we are open, heart centred, we are more likely to sense that communication from spirit. Because there has been an increased amount of uncertainty relating to this, due to people opening up spiritually, there seem to more questions than answers. Spirit has suggested I offer some insights to those opening up on their journey. Therefore I am pleased to offer a new service that I call Spiritual Clarity. It is a 30 minute phone or Skype session where you can ask whatever questions you like related to my work, opening up on your spiritual journey and so on. Meanwhile I invite you to be open to receive your own connection with spirit, your loved ones who have crossed over to the other side in the vibration of love. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Yes, we have all encountered them... even maybe been one of them (smile). Here are just eleven instances highlighting that if the inventors, creators, movers and shakers in our world had believed in what they were told we would never have the advancement of technology that has changed our world forever.
I am concluding that Penquin books are probably still kicking themselves for not signing JK Rowling and Richard Branson for not taking the cassette tape from the cab driver in London whose name was Phil Collins. In life, there are lots of missed opportunities... lots of people who will turn you down, squash your visions and goals. Maybe you will be turned down once, or a thousand times... but if you keep trying eventually you will break through and achieve your dream. Be the transformation that is within you.. Your commitment to you is to believe in you, what you can do... and as Nike once said... “Just Do it!” Vibrational Blessings, Debbie A. Anderson ![]() As I remind you all, only you can make you feel small... average... run of the mill. But everything in life is perspective. Yours, mine ... and of course others. "The Star Thrower" or "Starfish Story"* is a parable. A simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. It is vibrational because I feel it reminds us that we each have the power to make a difference in our life... and in the life of others. Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions. Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?” The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves,” the youth replied. “When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.” The old man replied, “But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.” The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, “It made a difference to that one!” Just take a breath, do something to help others and NEVER assume it won’t make a difference. Every journey starts with one energy being taking that step, making that change... however big or small your steps are today, tomorrow, next week... take them and remember the vibration of being you. Vibrational Blessings Debbie *"The Star Thrower" (or "starfish story") is part of a 16-page essay of the same name by Loren Eiseley (1907–1977), published in 1969 in The Unexpected Universe. The Star Thrower is also the title of a 1978 anthology of Eiseley's works (including the essay), which he completed shortly before his death. ![]() I have to admit that I haven’t written a blog in some time, and it isn’t for the lack of trying. Today I am sharing a beautiful blog written by a friend of mine, Caroline Kimsey, amazing healer and all round spiritual vibration. It is heart-felt, and that is very important... it focuses on us, loving us first and foremost, something I try to remind you... and myself. So read, interpret and absorb what fits in your world in this moment. Hearts are appearing everywhere reminding us of this wonderful energy we have inside of us. Our heart energy is always elevated and vibrates fully when we practice self love. Self Love being the true knowing of who we are and healing the parts of us that separate us from our authentic self allowing us to have a respectful, kind and loving relationship with our self which then will emanate into all our relationships. The wisdom of Shakespeare still encourages us to be the best we can today: “This Above All, To thine own self be true.” I know every one of us is on our own healing journey in whatever way we feel guided to. I think this is the true gift of self love because until we can address, go through our wounds and come out the other side, we cannot heal them. Building these new foundations or planting these healthy gardens is our gift to our “self” and I know it takes courage. I applaud you all for loving yourselves enough to have the courage to do this and for the change you make to the collective energy with each step to wholeness you take. Every one of us struggles with judgment. We judge other people's politics, words, clothing, appearance, parenting choice etc, etc, etc. To the point that we don't even notice anymore! It has become a habit/addiction usually started in childhood by those around us and then carried on. Also it is something we can turn on ourselves perpetuating the untruths people told us over our lives. Next time you notice you are judging yourself or others instead of listening to the words take a moment to listen to the voice. If you listen carefully you will probably begin to identify other people - parent’s maybe? Peers? Friends? Work Colleagues? Note other peoples' judgements you have taken on and use. When we do this, it's much easier to stop, as we can see how this is not OUR heart speaking. Judgement is the opposite too self love, no matter who it is directed too. It's a habit that you can break with mindfulness and it will give you a lot more peace when you do. Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Judgment Detox: Release the Beliefs That Hold You Back from Living a Better Life wrote this: Judging gives you a hangover When we judge, we get an instant hit of self-righteousness, but subconsciously we know we're separating ourselves from who we really are: compassionate, kind people. As a result, we feel guilty once our high wears off—and to avoid that feeling, we have to judge someone else. This cycle weakens us mentally and physically. Judging isolates you We develop addictions because we're trying to numb a core wound, which is usually rooted in childhood. Maybe someone told you that you weren't good enough, or you experienced some other kind of trauma that left you feeling all alone. To avoid experiencing that pain again, you project it onto others by pointing out their flaws. Our fear leads us to attack—but re-enacting the trauma of the past only creates more loneliness and disconnection. Judging prevents healing You have to be willing to look at your darkness in order to see the light. That's why the first step in a judgment detox is just to witness it without blaming ourselves. We judge because we're separated from love; to stop the cycle, we have to cultivate self-love. The second step is to honor that core wound. Next time you have the urge to judge, ask yourself what moment from the past is triggering you to feel this way. When we can understand ourselves, healing begins. Judging leaves you powerless Many people feel safer when they judge, as if they're controlling their circumstances, but hatred only creates more hatred. Those hours you might spend fuming about the news, for instance, could be used in a more positive way, like volunteering for a cause you care about, engaging in creative projects or spending quality time with people you love. Recovering from judgment addiction gives us back our power and lifts up everyone around us, too. To heal the world, we have to live the truth in every corner of our lives. Recovery isn't easy—but when we let go of judgment, we make room for love and joy. It's like staying sober: You can't really enjoy a drink again because you know how good it feels to live without it. I certainly couldn’t have written this better than Caroline, so I give heartfelt thanks for her sharing this with us all. We cannot begin to walk our walk.. speak our truth until we love our “self” first and foremost, and most of all doing that unconditionally. This month is February, the month of love, so start cultivating and nurturing you with the love YOU deserve. It takes practice.. and we all know practice makes perfect. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie ![]() Sometimes things.... life don’t quite go the way we planned. And sometimes, during that chaotic interlude, we can have our world turned upside down and inside out even if we feel we are spiritually attuned. Yes, that is right, perfection in all things can take time so don’t beat yourself up. (smile) This time of year especially can push all those buttons and momentarily have us spiralling down that rabbit hole of doubt. Just a while ago I encountered something that rocked my world. Seems this year for me has been related to integrity and honor or should I say the lack of it in many humans and light workers at the moment. So when it hit me, I felt like someone had punched me in the stomach and I was spiritually winded. I kept hearing spirit saying over and over to me, this is just a glitch, let it go... you are blessed, you are blessed. That afternoon I opened an email from Caroline Kimsey, the leader of a wonderful virtual healing group I belong to who sent us all the story of the snow globe which I am sharing with you today. She wrote “I was thinking that each of our lives is rather like being in a snow globe. In the middle is us and we fill our "globe" with the people and animals we love, then add layers of other things we enjoy having around us ... imprinting each snow flake in our globe with the energy that makes us happy, safe and generally at peace. But sometimes at the bottom of the globe are old snowflakes imprinted with things that no longer fit or serve our lives that we have taken on from others or perhaps misunderstood when we were younger and made a part of our inner world. These still lie under the surface while we carry on making our new memories and joy and then all of a sudden something or someone comes and shakes it all up. When our globe is really shaken (which is exactly what it feels like to me when I get discombobulated by an unexpected happening). The things buried deep beneath the surface are stirred up and we feel unable to centre for a while until we ground and breath and take stock of "What just happened". But remember the snowflakes in the air are full of the things that are your truth now.... are what you want in your life that you have made for yourself. I think the best thing about having your personal snow globe shaken up is discovering what does need to be let go off and what you are still holding on to and not only gaining your own equilibrium more quickly, but getting to a stage where you can stand steady in the middle of your world without being shaken up yourself and possible calm others too. I saw someone very dear to me who was in most ways having a very positive and good events happening in her life. But one thing came along which shook up her personal globe and she could not see the other lovely things around her. She could only focus on the perceived negative one, almost in a way shaking the debris in her own world and not allowing herself to centre and see things more clearly. We can all do this at times, but if we really want to love ourselves and others we need to try not to, or at least let ourselves settle as quickly as possible. If we even hold on to one thing that over stimulates our nervous system we cannot have calm in our inner or outer world”. I always share, that spirit will send us a message... a communication when we need it. That day spirit sent me the vibrational words of Caroline Kimsey, in such divine timing. In this next short while, when we get busy for the celebrations ahead, take a moment to sit in stillness... reconnect to the inner YOU vibration, and if others around you shake up your snow globe... take some beautiful cleansing breathes and remind yourself how far you have come in your life..... why you chose what you do.... in life....... with your family & friends and in your Universe. Then exhale knowing all this too shall pass and all will be well. Sometimes when we are in awareness, the divine enters into our soul, so listen and be heart centred always. Be in joy and gratitude of the way they make sure we get the answers we need WHEN we need them. Vibrational Blessings Debbie ![]() I have been asked many times “what is the easiest way to meditate?”. What I will share are just my thoughts which is just the way I learnt to meditate. What I believe is meditation is about is resting your mind and connecting with your consciousness to achieve peace, quietness and hopefully find your bliss. Of course for anyone who has tried to meditate knows, often the mind itself is the biggest obstacle that stands in our way to our own awareness. What I am hopeful meditation will do for you is to invite your vibrational essence to connect with YOU in an effort to help YOU achieve what YOU need at any given time. Meditation is a tool to assist you in your day to day life. It is deemed to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression and even lower blood pressure. Basically, it can help improve the health and wellbeing of your mind, body and soul. Here are some of the meditation techniques I suggest to anyone wanting to embrace this experience.
What I hear so often is people struggling with the fact that their mind doesn’t slow down enough, or wanders off while attempting meditation. If it does, then let it be. Try not to fight it, otherwise you will be negating any emotional benefits and frankly making yourself feel more stressed than when you started. I would like to encourage you do what I call a mindful meditation. This is allowing your mind to focus on something, be it an image, a word, or maybe a card pulled from an oracle or affirmation deck. This allows your thoughts and feelings to create a mental image based on what you have seen, observed. If you prefer add some background music that soothes your soul. All this is doing is opening up your awareness to infinite possibilities. After you have sat for a few minutes, open your eyes and write down anything and everything you felt, sensed or saw during that process. Maybe there were images, words or thoughts, whatever you write in your journal will help you to open up your intuition and awareness. Remember, there are no wrong thoughts. They are just thoughts, so the more you can release them, the more you will be able to relax. Meditation should not be an endurance test. So I am hopeful what I have shared will start you on your journey to your own self enlightenment and bliss. After all, you are a vibrational being! Vibrational Blessings, Debbie ![]() For any of you that are still feeling the “drag” of energy since the Las Vegas shooting, please can I invite you to do these three vibrational things to boost your energy and the energy of those around you.
At this moment in time our world is yet again transitioning – changing up the energy. Testing us if you like! And yes, the tests will continue, it’s called LIFE. Whenever you are wondering what comes next, take a moment to step into your energy, the beautiful vibration that placed you here right in this moment, reading this blog. You are part of the change, within yourself and your world. This moment was pre-determined when you wrote your contract of what you would do and be in this current life. Do you have a choice? Yes, of course you do, but do you want to be in an awakened state or a sleeper? I know which one I would choose and have chosen to be. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie ![]() When life throws us a curve ball or two, it can affect our vibration in so many ways. This week’s reading offered a resounding message from Spirit - Keep Calm and Carry On. And for those of you who know that particular saying and the things that are happening in our world at the moment, should find it a very apt mantra to keep saying over and over again. In our humanness, and yes that is a big part of who we are, our spiritual essence struggles, with everything .......the good, the bad and the ugly. But the disappointments, some may call frustrations, can really soak into our soul and try to break us down. I personally have been going through a skirmish, and like many of you conclude that maybe it was placed before me as a reminder that life is full of imperfections and bumps along the way. Maybe this is another test of my faith, my belief and honoring the energy frequency that I work and live in on a daily basis? We usually have more questions than answers, but this is when we need to have our heart open to hearing, seeing and sensing the answers. When we receive messages from our angelic guides and helpers, which we do get all the time, it is being receptive and sensitive and listening to what our heart is telling us. My recent experience happened when I was out walking a couple of days ago. I was in deep contemplation about things happening in my life and asking spirit to help enlighten me to get some direction or at least to understand what was happening and if it was coming to an end sometime sooner rather than later . I was mulling over possibilities in my mind, as we do in our humanness. I am a true believer that out of something bad always comes something good. And sometimes we need to go through this to embrace this aspect more. So what was I missing? There had to be something I was missing in this chaotic scenario. Maybe it needed to occur based on the relationship of cause and effect. All the time, like all of us, I was waiting for a sign.... confirmation or just something to help me keep focused. You know what I mean... should I keep going or change direction, or maybe give up on this latest adventure. As a child I was told that everything comes to those who wait, and although my predicament wasn’t life threatening, it was extremely frustrating, consuming my energy beyond redemption because my human energy had stepped into it. I continued walking along enjoying the day, in deep meditative connection with Mother Nature. I needed this time, to keep myself centred not letting this overwhelming feeling in my gut control my vibrational frequency. And there it was on the pathway, right in front of me... a grey & black feather. I knew it was for me because I had walked this same part of the path less than an hour earlier and it was there. So I picked it up and thanked spirit for giving me this beautiful and significant sign that I was being protected by my angels. This feather was a sign bringing forth spiritual wisdom and peace within, letting me know that a message will be sent with the answer to the question you have asked. Thank you, thank you, thank you I cried from within. But spirit wanted me to really know that they were there for me because holding my feather as I walked, a tiny black butterfly flew up and almost landed on my nose. So I knew there was going to be a shift in power relating to what I had been asking. When I gave thanks, I could feel tears filling my eyes. I felt a peace resonating within my heart, and I knew that even though at this exact moment I couldn’t see the wood for the trees, a positive change would be occurring soon. I slept more peacefully that night and awoke the next morning to the wind creating angelic music through the venting in my condo. Not a sound had I heard like it ever before in the three years living there. As I listened, again this overwhelming feeling of tranquility filled my soul frequency, my vibration felt like it could let go of the thoughts, the questions, the concerns because spirit now had this in hand and were working on it. Would the shift take place relating to what I was asking? I truly didn’t know, but within my heart chakra was a sense of calmness, stillness had filled my whole spiritual and physical body. In my serenity there was once again stillness and tranquility knowing that this was in the hands of the divine Universal force we call God...... Jesus..... Buddha..... Allah. Whatever name you pray or meditate to doesn’t matter, because our prayers are always answered. We just have to take the time to listen and keep believing. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie ![]() Yesterday I was walking with a group around the Labyrinth in Leamington. Being in the moment I realized that I could explore that time and just let my vibrational energy flow freely, without restrictions. Amid the pulling out weeds, which I will share with you in a later blog, I came across a little twig. It was just sitting there on top of the boxwood hedge. As I was the last one on the walk I wondered if the others that had walked ahead of me had seen it, or whether it had just appeared for me, right then. I picked it up, because there was a reason, even if it was not known to me. Drifting back into my thoughts, I let the twig turn gently in my fingers allowing me to see it from all angles without any agenda or reason. That’s what I call being in the Now Intention and boy is it enlightening. This little sprig of wood was at some point in its existence part of a bigger tree, that would have stood in strength reaching its branches out to the Universe. And below, it would have been attached by its roots that went deep down into mother earth. Connecting us to both Heaven & Earth with branches and roots stretched out. As above, so below. Then in a moment this little twig would have broken away, so I could find it, and pick it up and spend time in contemplation. What a gift I thought. Just for me. As my walk came to an end, I realized I no longer had the little twig in my hand. My thought was that during my weed pulling the little twig had yet again continued on its journey and our time together was at an end. Leaving those thoughts behind I ventured through my day feeling very blessed. It wasn’t until I went to bed last night that I felt something on the bed.... yes, it was my little twig, who had somehow come home with me. How, I have no idea, truly I don’t because I didn’t have any pockets in my clothing. So whether it was divine intervention or just a fluke it doesn’t matter. Was my little twig a gift from heaven with the purpose of writing this blog? Or just because it wanted to remind me that trees are never limited. They are in balance and harmony with nature. The branches are always extending out reaching upwards seeking the light & nourishment. The branches will shelter & protect us. A tree stands strong, ever growing, ever changing. After all, life is dependent on our own self awareness. Expanding and evolving as and when we are ready. Our vibrational essence knows that there is ALWAYS another way if something doesn’t work out for us, we just have to adapt and transform accordingly being OPEN to receive. Vibrational Blessings, Debbie ![]() One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on. Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.' After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. 'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.' Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. 'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.' All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.' Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.' 'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary.' Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists.' That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again. The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.
